Lesson 2: BOON and BANE
In this lesson I have learned something like the disadvantages and advantages of using the technology. We cant deny the fact that the technology have an advantages but we can’t also deny that there are also disadvantages. It really depend on the user how will they use it.
Lesson 7: DIRECT, PURPOSEFUL EXPERIENCES AND BEYOND
In this lesson I learned that the experience that we perform were our concrete and firsthand experiences make up the foundation of our learning. Because of this experienced and learned the things I never done since birth and the best example of this was I climbed on the coconut tree and I also pastured the cow and I found out that it is not easy to climbed on the tree and pastured the cow. And there’s a saying “You can’t give what you don’t have” and also the saying “Experience is the best teacher”.
Lesson 8: TEACHING WITH CONTRIVED EXPERIENCE
In this lesson I learned object and some substitutes too the real things when it is not practical or not possible to bring or do the real thing in the classroom. The best example of this is when our instructor let us make a model or a mock up and etc.
Lesson 9: TEACHING WITH DRAMATIZED EXPERIENCES
In this lesson, let me realize that if our teaching is dramatic, our students get attracted, interested and affected. If they are affected and moved by what we taught, we are most likely leave an impact on them. S it means that if we make some twist to our class it will make us and especially to the student not to be bored and they can understand the lesson like for example is when you will assigned them to read a novel or story they want easily understand what they are reading but if you will let them play the role of the character of the story they can understand it well and they can go deeper because they can feel the emotion if they will act what they have read.
Lesson 13: TEACHING WITH VISUAL SYMBOLS
Visual symbols will be made meaningful if we can use them as summaries of our own direct experiences or our rich indirect experience... A little can stand for a lot!
In this lesson I learned that visual symbols are essential in teaching. It will add life to your discussion and it will give the student deeper understanding to your lesson. Like the other objects it will also serve as a substitutes to the real things that are impossible to bring in the classroom.
